  • • Q1. HOW DO I BOOK A HAJJ OR UMRAH PACKAGE WITH BARAKA TRAVEL ?

    A. Browse through our several Hajj or Umrah packages, and choose the package that best suits your needs. Afterward, you can reserve your Hajj or Umrah package online through (payment methods). Once you’ve completed the payment process, you have officially reserved your Hajj or Umrah package with our company. You will also receive a confirmation of your reservation and a Hajj or Umrah visa application to fill out.


  • Q2. WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP AFTER RECEIVING THE CONFIRMATION AND SUBMITTING THE DOCUMENTATION FOR MY VISA TO SAUDI ARABIA?

    A. We will begin applying for your visa as soon as we receive the required documentation and application form. The process takes 3 to 4 weeks. Once the Ministry of Hajj in Saudi Arabia issues the visa, you will receive your final confirmation email that serves as a contract between you and Baraka Travel. You will need a printout of the confirmation email during your trip to Saudi Arabia. You will also receive your detailed itinerary, your passport with the visa, the airline tickets, luggage tags from Baraka Travel, and ID cards.

  • Q3. WHEN IS THE DEADLINE FOR BOOKING A HAJJ PACKAGE?

    A. The sooner the better! There is no deadline, but everything is booked on a first-come, first-served basis. Many of our Hajj packages are booked during the holy month of Ramadan. The remaining packages or accommodations are booked right after Eid.


  • Q4. WHAT KIND OF HAJJ WILL I BE CARRYING OUT?

    A. We will carry out Hajj according to the teachings of Saydena Mohamed , God blessings and peace upon him, and his Sunni approach.

  • Q5. CAN I TRAVEL TO ANOTHER DESTINATION AS A STOPOVER BEFORE OR AFTER HAJJ OR UMRAH?

    A. Yes, of course. We also organize the best Islamic Tours for Muslims in Egypt, Turkey, Jordan, Dubai, and many other countries. Guests can also stop and visit their homeland before or after Hajj or Umrah.


  • Q6. WILL A BARAKA TRAVEL REPRESENTATIVE WELCOME ME AT THE AIRPORT IN SAUDI ARABIA?

    A. Of course! Our representative will welcome guests at the airport after they obtain their luggage, go through customs, and exit the security section of the airport.


  • Q7. WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANCEL MY BOOKING FOR HAJJ OR UMRAH?

    A. You must complete the payment process before you fill out the visa application for Hajj or Umrah due to the regulations of the Ministry of Hajj in Saudi Arabia. The payment for the accommodation and the ground services in Saudi Arabia cannot be refunded. However, your airplane tickets, based on the kind of ticket and the cancelation date, can be refunded (minus the airline’s cancelation fee).

  • Q8. WHAT HAPPENS IF I WANT TO CHANGE MY PACKAGE AFTER I’VE BOOKED IT?

    A. Although you can make minor modifications to your travel package, the major aspects of your package, such as the hotels and airlines you’ve booked, cannot be modified.

  • Q9. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO TRAVEL WITH CHILDREN OR BABIES DURING HAJJ OR UMRAH?

    A. If you will need a separate seat for your child during ground transportation, or a separate bed in the hotel, you will have to pay the full cost for him or her to accompany you. If you don’t need a separate seat or bed for your child, you will only have to pay for the costs of services and the visa. Typically, airlines require the payment of 65 to 70 percent of the full ticket price for children, and just 10 percent for babies.

  • Q10. CAN I CHOOSE ANY HOTEL I LIKE?

    A. Yes, of course. Guests can choose any hotel they desire from our wide database of hotels in Saudi Arabia.


  • Q11. IS IT POSSIBLE TO OBTAIN THE VISA WITHOUT BOOKING A PACKAGE OR ACCOMMODATION?

    A. This is not permitted, according to the regulations and rules of Saudi Arabia. The cost of the hotel accommodation must be paid before issuing the visa.


  • Q12. IS THERE A MINIMUM OR MAXIMUM AGE FOR CARRYING OUT HAJJ OR UMRAH?

    A. Although there is no maximum age for carrying out Hajj or Umrah, children must be mature enough to carry out Hajj or Umrah accompanied by their parents or guardians.


  • Q13. IS IT POSSIBLE FOR GUESTS WHO DON’T HAVE AN ISLAMIC NAME OR WHO RECENTLY CONVERTED TO ISLAM TO TRAVEL FOR HAJJ OR UMRAH?

    A. Yes, this is possible under one condition: You must send us proof of your conversion to Islam. This may include the certificate of your conversion or a certified letter from your domestic Islamic center testifying that you have converted to Islam.
